HoverBox 3 - Official Thread

I installed the HB3 and it didn't work in IE6 due to conflict with swfobject. In FF worked fine.

Can you please explain to me what and how i need to edit the tpl file. I have fixed the "larger image" link i was unaware that there was a photoshop file that i can edit that particular gif file and change it to whatever i like. So thanks for the help on all that. However I am not sure exactly how to edit that file you mentioned to get it to link to a larger picture but not by pop up but with the hoverbox just like the larger image link does.

Hey Testuser.
I have to say this module is a godsend. It's beautiful and functions perfectly.

I am having one small issue that may just be a built in fail-safe.
On images that are smaller/normal sized it displays perfectly and has the full name etc. plus the close image/link. However on larger... 2"x10.5" (we are a printing warehouse that keep printed items in stock) when I click the product image it pulls it up with the name but it does not show a 'close' button/link. Thus the only way to get out of the blackened showcase stage is to hit escape.

(Not a big deal to a cs major, but to the average joe that uses our website this could be confusing)

Do you have any pointers or helpful ideas? I read the entire thread and haven't seen anyone else with this problem. I'm assuming it's due to the size of the image?

It hides to prevent conflicts in the layout. You can also click the black screen underlaying the box.

Sorry if this is a noob question but I am new to zen cart. i saw a demo of Hoverbox and loved it, I am using xampp on a local machine and downloaded and installed hoverbox3 clean install not upgrading, it shows up in the configuration and says it is enabled but does not seem to be doing anything, when I click on an image to enlarge it just opens a new frame as it would before hoverbox. Any suggestions?

Umm. yep I'm a noob, I just put a group of files in the wrong spot. redid it and all problems solved. Great product. That is all carry on....

I'm having an issue or two with HoverBox 3.

I love the effect, and it works no problem for the first image of my product. It does not however work for my extra images. They simply open in a new frame as if hoverbox was disabled.

Also, there is no close button on the images opened in hover box...is there any reason for this?

I'm trying to work through things myself and will post back if I find a solution, but in the meantime I'd be grateful for any expert help!!

i have the swfobject and hoverbox issue aswell. swfobject won't work with hoverbox, or lightbox for that matter. something about the order it loads in. can anyone provide a fix for swfobject?
