Hello Clyde!

Thank you!!! It worked!! I do not know much about PHP but when I looked at the difference of the two files, it seems that the only thing changed was an added carraige to line 30:

Is this something that affects PHP coding? Just curious.

make sure images/links_image has a cmod of 777 (this will make the directory writable.

Have done that. Whislt it rids the problem of the error message it does not resolve the issue that it does not allow the image to load into either the adnin, or calalogue.

I will wrestle with this again, and recheck if there may be a missing file somewhere.

Hi There

I have installed links_manager v3.4.1 but when i try to add links through my admin i get the following error

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 's & Movies' and language_id = '1'' at line 1
in:
[select link_categories_id from zen_link_categories_description where link_categories_name = 'DVD's & Movies' and language_id = '1']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

More than likely it has to do with the category name.

DVD's & Movies

The highlighted portion is terminiating the sql statement before it completes. That is why you get the error and why the submit button doesn't function as it should.

Try editing the category name as follows:
DVD\'s & Movies
OR
DVDs and Movies

I installed the mod..everything looked good..for some reason my home page is blank..when I right click to see source ...no text..what went wrong
site::irateguild.biz (I guess a main file is missing but what file is that)
