I can only see v. 1.3.19 in the download area.
    Where can I get 2.0?
    Thanks.

Default Error for sitemapcategories.xml at google webmasters

    i've successfully installed Google Sitemap.

i went to Admin--> tools --> Google sitemap XML.
    i did STEP 1 and STEP 2.
(FYI - all needed "XML" has been copied to my domain root.)

    all was suceesfull.

but when logged in Google Webmaster, there's an error for sitemapcategories.xml file ("Your Sitemap does not contain any URLs. Please validate and resubmit your Sitemap. Help Help"). No problem with other pages.

Any idea to solve this issue?

    thanks.

Let me start by saying I love this mod! I install it for most of my clients!

The question I have for you is...... is it possible to add more search engines to the ping list???? If yes, then how would I do that?

    Thanks,
    Tina

Only edit script. What additional search engines you want to ping? List it with ping url.

I want to prevent search engines from indexing a certain folder in my site and all its subfolders.
Apart from the robots.txt, how can I achieve this by not having it show in the sitemap?
    Thanks.

    Andrew,

I haven't put a list together yet - but will, and then I'll pm the list to you.

Well the quick and easiest is the robots.txt route. Otherwise it would mean coding in a "ignore this folder" function and associated GUI. This still would not stop crawlers from accessing that folder it they could find it by alternative sources.

    Thanks for quick answer.
This is my robots.txt, very simple so far:
    User-agent: *
    Allow: /
    Sitemap: http://www.ladywig.com/sitemapindex.xml

I know I have to add something like noindex, nofollow /thisfolder somewhere.
    Please show correct syntax.
    Regards.
