It is in admin->ssu config, you will see exclude parameters there, put in currency

Yellow should I put the old version and work the way up?
3.3.5 is still in unstable mode, xordox did test it and using it on his live site, we havent found bugs so far but it not 100% safe
2.9.6 is pretty stable, but you wont have link alias, parameters exclusion, and some new features.
And you dont have to work the way up, the module manage which has to be installed first takes care of it.

That file of defualt.php was not in these folders:
includes/classes/ssu/languages/
