Grid Layout Assistance Needed

The calculation sets the percent width for the individual products. Changing from 0.5 to 1.5 means only a 1% change (about 5px) per item, so you might not notice it. It will probably make no difference anyway with the Column Divider Pro mod still installed; that change is needed when using the plain Column Layout Grid mod.

The product varying width issue may be due to modifying the CDP code. I don't know how that code works in detail, so can't advise on it. If you still want to use that mod, I suggest you post in its support thread for help; otherwise, uninstall it and install just Column Grid, and see if that clears up the problem. It will give you smaller gutters between the products, at any rate.

I have uninstalled CDP as it was causing an issue with resizing products rather than keeping an even 3 row column. It seems we are back to the border bold in the inside columns and normal on the outer ones and no small gap between each product. It seems to also be different in firefox and IE7 please have a look if you dont mind. The grid is also not centered and the products on the homepage (new) are 2,1,2,1 etc

I also did what you mentioned above and like i said and you said there was not much difference i couldnt really notice anything.

You need to make the edit from post 17 in your Column Grid version of product_listing.php. I did say to "Adjust the 1.5 as required"; you might want to try 2.5, which would allow for a small 6-8px space between products, or 4.0, which would allow a 15px or so space.

You might want to add the new listing selector to the product listing selector (and delete the separate rule for .centerBoxContentsNew, so they both get the same styling:

.centerBoxContentsProducts, .centerBoxContentsNew {

And again, adjust as needed to get the effect you want.

But the new products the file your telling me to edit is not making any changes to the layout only seems to be working for the categories so i am still to fix the new products any idea why the file is not changing?

The new products centerbox is controlled by different files than the product listing. You'll need to find the similar bit of "floor" code for that and change it.

Yeah i know it use to have a more info text link and i added a details button similar to the product categories.....

For the new products listing page, you can set Configuration > New Listing > Display Product Buy Now Button as desired; however, this will not affect the new products centerbox. There are no settings to change that.

That has already been set to 1300 but nothing is displyed

That is because the setting will not affect the centerbox, as I said. You would need to get into adding new PHP coding to change that.
