Default Adding Mastercard/Visa drop down on Payment Page

    Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone knows how i can add a drop down menu for "Credit Card Type" I'm trying to eliminate people entering American express, and also for our filing purposes.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Load up the images for Visa and Mastercard and turn the images on for the checkout ...

No, that will just show your customers images of which credit cards you accept.

You'd need to do some custom coding to add a dropdown.

If you show the image of what you accept, and you have configured properly the Configuration ... Credit Cards ... for what you accept ... do you really need a dropdown?

Not denying your logic, but some people are lacking... therefore i find its best to serve on a platter where possible

Yes, a dropdown is absolutely needed (or other selection type). Customers are trying to click on the images to select the card they are trying to use. Some customers (not all) are confused when there is no choice. I too am after a dropdown menu after learning this first hand from customers. We need to consider the most inexperienced shopper as it can mean the difference between making a sale (or not!). I'm going to add the code for the dropdown just to eliminate confusion for the customer, even though it will not be passing any CC info.

I tried doing that and it shows "My Image" for each of the cards that I enabled. Do I have to load the images manually?

I'm using the checkout for InternetSecure but am not sure if that's where the info is coming from.
I'm also using COWOA but don't think that affects any of the payment info.

    Please see attached.
