Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I ftp'd the files into the /includes directory and then went to admin/tools and I do not find Image Handler there? Am I missing something?

did you install every folder which came with Image Handler 2? you have to install admin folder, bmz_cache folder & image folder.

Did you drop the IM2 files directly into the Zencart folder or did you install each of the install folders into different locations???

Step 1: Back Up, Back Up and you did back up your zencart files, right?

Step 2: You have created your override folders, right?
If not now is the time.

Step 3: Have you made any changes to any zen cart files?
Easy to check, just look in your override folders to see if any IH files will overwrite any files. If so you need to merge the 2 files into one.
If you have not made any file changes, good.
IH files (3 I think) overwrite some ZenCart files so those files need to be uploaded the the correct override folders.

Step 4: Forget Steps 1 to 3 and upload/drop IH folders into the ZenCart folder.

I have to admit, I have not created the overide folders. This part of the Zen experience is still a bit confusing. I have been biting of small chunks of the Zen process at a time (being new to the Zen life).

T answer the question I followed the fourth step and installed the four folders into mystore/includes using filezilla. Then wen to admin/tools and there is no Image Handler.

Stumped.

then you should see admin>tools>image handler 2 - i am not sure why it didn't work for you.

duh me, i missed the function folder for admin. now it works.

i apologize if it is unrelated but i am wondering if it is possible to put a few color images
for the specific product so that the user could get to see color before order specific color?

Not correct.

They all go into the Zen Cart root folder.

From your earlier post, they will all go into your mystore folder

yeah i have looked at tutorials, but I don't really understand how to use images with attributes. I know only how to add value and names in option manager (text only)..so could you show me how to do swatch colors with attributes?
