Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)

I just installed this fantastic mod and am so grateful for the contribution!

I have been using the original cross sell version 1.3.1 Granville - 03/30/2006 - updated by DrByte for v1.3.0 and the upsell mod 1.3 11/10/2006- TooLateSmart. These mods still exist in my cart.

After following the install tips in this thread for yet another cross sell mod (yacsm) and after a few repeated uploads of the module manager+yacsm, and installing the sql's 0,1,2 manually (a few times) Everything works great!

I really was blown away that my old cross sells appeared in the new yacsm!

My questions:

Since the old cross sell and yacsm are now using the same table, should I uninstall the old cross sell files? or is there some functionality provided by the old cross sell 1.3.1? and if I uninstall the old cross sell will the upsell mod hook into yacsm?

and

Should I delete the .sql's files 0,1,2 as they are in the db now?

Do they appear to be duplicated on the front end as well?
And everytime you enter new xsell there will be duplication?

It only seems to be the first product added as a cross sell as further additions dont duplicate.

The Cross sells list fine in the catalog so the user would be none the wiser.

This is running on a XAMPP test site on my local machine.
SO cant actually show you it happening.

Maybe i will try uping it to a new test site in case its a user uploading error on my part.

Just installed and got exactly the same error - when viewing current cross sells (in the bottom left corner) one is duplicated, but looking in the db they aren't and they aren't on the front end.

As a side note, I noticed early on in this thread there is mention of installing an original contribution.
There isnt a mention of this in the download I used (rev185).
Hope it doesnt matter.

Would also be nice to link products using drop down boxes/category browsers rather than IDs.

In the admin everything is ok but i cant get anything to display. If you view the source code you can see at the bottom that the comment lines are there but nothing else!

Please help

It's hard to say, when you search the xsell for that particular product in the admin what do you see?
