Cross Sell

One of my clients has a retail store that has a similar situation to yours - she had several thousand products and navigating in Cross sell was not efficient. We ended up locating an upgrade/module called Advanced Cross Sell that adds a search field where you can enter in a model number and quickly locate a particular item. So maybe this will help with your 2nd issue.

But I have two issues, can someone help me with them?

first: I have a store about 2000 products into my shop, everytime when i load the cross-sell to find/edit a product it loads every image , that is a lot of data-traffic. I also have installed image handler. Is it possible to load the smallest image of Image Handler to reduce the data-traffic.
For now I have uncomment the image, so no image is shown.

second: As I told I have a lot of products, so it's a little bit difficult to find the product to edit cross-sell.
Now there is a pulldown to switch to page nr. x, default it shows 20 products on one page (you can handle this by maximum values, Search Results Per Page i set this to 2000). But is it possible to show in the pull down the categories, so when you click on the categorie, it show only the products which you can asign of that categorie?

Did you just upload one or so files from the Advanced Cross Sell in order to get that search field .... or did you have to go through the entire install again?

I have the exact same issues as Raimond ... so I'm hoping to find solutions to the image and search problems.
