I run into a problem when trying to create a manual Google Base Feed in admin.

In Google Base Feeder it sais:

"Create Product Feed: Click [HERE] to create / update your products feed. "

When I click, a pop up window with my homepage shows up instead of the feed creation window. The link/command that should run is:

    http://www.mysite.com/googlefroogle.php?feed=fy_un_tp

but it seems to redirect automatically to http://www.mysite.com/

Would that be the auto alias thing or does it need to be excluded in .htaccess?

OK, base feeder works again. I Reset all cache and then it worked again. Why was this needed I wonder? Yes, I did set up new products but that should not be needed?

And the google base problem is back after a few minutes. Only works if I reset cache and then immediately do the feed. Any idea?

I should add that the bestsellers list URLs all work fine, it is the categories and manufacturers URLs that are messed up. Does that make any sense?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I hope you got your 8 hours of sleep before being hit with all these cries for help!

Have you any idea why this might occur? I read your explanation above, but I don't know how I'd troubleshoot this. Any help would be gratefully received. I also wondered if the problem with - malfunctioning when installed in a subfolder rather than root - would ever be fixed, or if it is just one of those things?

Thanks for a great mod and generous support,

Getting this error after installing. Read the other posts associated with this error and your response was the check the installation notes. I've checked them over twice, and as far as i'm aware - i'm following everything correctly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have just run GoogleBase on SSU 3.6.0 without problem.

I also do not encounter any redirect problem.

Please make sure you did not overwrite htaccess accidentally. Please also post the current SSU settings so I can try to reproduce the problem. And post the link as well.

I just upgraded to SSU 3.6.0 and now after clear cache it seems to work more than just once. Looks like this version fixed it.

BTW I used Google Feeder 1.7 as 1.7.3 gave me other troubles. So
SSU 3.6.0 and GBF 1.7 work fine together as of now.

If you look at the changelog of 3.6.0 you will see why this version fixes it :)
