Really appreciated your wonderful mod, and all of us are eager to use your RSS 2.0, which would be powerful & perfect.

Hi Jerry5763837,
I agree with you. And what are you waiting from next version? Maybe there are some suggestions?
Hi, Andrew,
Thanks for your patience.
We all know that you are the great author of RSS mod & Google Sitemap mod, which works well except little defective.
e.g. ,the last Googlesitemap mod version 1.3.19 still has problems, that is: all the pages have the same priority, which resulted in google warning.
please see at http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...google&page=74
Did your Googlesitemap 2.0 finished or not? Please PM me, it is important to me. mansy thanks.
Andrew, we are so lucky to use you mod.![]()
Quick question. I searched the thread, but didn't find an answer. Is there a way to use the "buy now" button from my custom template instead of the default one? I'm not finding where the code could be modified for this and don't want to overwrite the template_default files at all...
Great Mod, btw!
Hello
The feed that is genreated on the site I'm working with has a problem in the feed where the infomation (title and description) for the wrong category is displayed
see http://www.wynsors.com/rss_feed.html...eed=categories
The first entry in the feed is for Womens Shoes which is category ID 2 whereas the feed is generated for category ID 1!
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andy
got everything working ok after modding the rss_feed.php file in extra_datafiles in relation to the missing & in the feed link (as detailed on page 50) so the feeds are showing in the footer correctly for each section ofthe site.
my problem is......when I create an EZ page to list all the feeds and drop the links in there for example:
index.php?main_page=rss_feed&feed=specials
for some reason Zen Cart removes the amp; in the link so it becomes:
index.php?main_page=rss_feed&feed=specials
which then doesnt work.
any ideas anyone?
I'm wondering if we can put the code to pull the url in there instead.
Hi, I have been trying to get this module to work on my website for a couple of days now.
On each product feed I have RSS_TITLE and RSS_DESCRIPTION
I am assuming this maybe because I haven't set a title or description?
I would do this if I could see any thing in the admin area. When going into the RSS settings nothing is displayed. I don't get of the settings that I have seen in previous posts.
Any ideas what could be happening?
Hi
I have problem by step with install.sql.
The page Install SQL patches displays:
----
9 statements processed.
ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.
---
If I go to Admin>Configuration>RSS Feed, than I see only the empty table with columns: Title,Value,Action.
