Thanks - I would be doing this too but it's coming up not found. Can you confirm this url is live for you ?

( I'm getting a not found error on all the urls mentioned here - the main www.rubikintegration.com is alive and kicking though )

Hi Johanna,
the error would suggest that the $ssuLocalConfig array is not defined when the init script is attempting to read it.

one thing to check... did you remove both the opening and closing comments ( /* and */ ) that surround the $ssuLocalConfig array in the example local.config.php file?

But this mod is giving me a hard time. I uninstalled everything like in the documentation and installed it again, but then I can't find anything under Configuration anymore.
I will try again tomorrow.

Hi, I have installed ssu and all is working well but i'm wondering whether it's possible to redirect urls from an old non-zen shop to the relevant page within the new zen site. I have tried by creating an alias in hte admin but no joy.

i tried creating an alias using the old address as the url

/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,113/category_id,2d2a10c456a6c08c754e5303a10137e6/option,com_phpshop/Itemid,1/

and this as the alias

/product-016-p-16/

but it gives 404 page. Any idea where i'm going wrong? or is what i'm trying possible?

Go to admin-tools-sql patch tool, run:

delete from module_version_tracke where module_code = 'yellow1912_ssu';

BTW,out of curiosity, which version are you installing?

The url should be working, I have just tested it.

yes that's right - moving from joomla to zencart and i need a way to map the old joomla urls to the new zencart equivalents with 301 redirects. was hoping i could manually create aliases for them.

Does that sound possible?

delete from module_version_tracke where module_code = 'yellow1912_ssu';

BTW,out of curiosity, which version are you installing?

I have zencart 1.3.8a and the module manager rev.16.
I uninstalled both and put a backup back. Then I installed the module manager and the Simple SEO mod again. But still not visible under Configuration.
I then intstalled all the sql patches one by one through the admin and now I have it back under Configuration.
Now I only have to find out what I have to put there, because before I didn't know what to put there.
Isn't there a simple list with the most common settings?
I find this hard to install, since I know little from SEO and I didn't find the right options so far in this thread. I am sure they will be there, so I will go on searching for it.

You are making it way too complicated I guess.

1. You upload the manger
2. You upload the module

And you are done.

If you follow the installation note step by step, I dont see how you get into the trouble. It details exactly what you should do already. I know it would be even nicer if you can upload the d* thing once and it's done. I want to have it works that way too, but well time and cost constrains *_*.

This module is free, and I work on it during free time I have only.

Anyhow, I do help people to install the module when they ask for it, I usually ask for admin and ftp info, then I jump in the server, install it in 5 mins and be done with it. It actually saves the users' time, and save my time as well, since it's way faster than replying in here. So if you need that help, pm me, I will be glad to help.
