    MySQL: 5.0.67

Question: I searched the forum for this and had no luck. Hopefully, I just missed it and you can point me to the proper posts.

When I add a category or link, the image does not display. In the admin --> extras --> links (or link categories) and checked the properties of the images. Here is what is shows:

    http://www.qualityitemsofmontana.com...eal_estate.jpg

Obviously, it is putting in the http://www.qualityitemsofmontana.com/qiofm/
    put it shouldn't.

How do I make this work?

    Thank you!!!

    Chris
If you are entering a banner image from admin -> extras -> links
you only need to use the following in the image url input box (links_image/goodshepard_logo.gif)
In order for this to work, you will need to have the banner image located on your server in images/links_image/

from admin -> extras -> links categories

    You have two choices
    1) similar to the above you only need to use (link_category/clothing.png) Again, the image need to be located on you server in images/link_category/

    2) You can use the browse button to select an image from your PC and then click the save button.

Thanks for the suggestions...but it isn't working.

My site is located in the "qiofm" subfolder. So, at www.qualityitemsofmontana.com/qiofm. I have the link category images in the qiofm/images/link_category folder. The image is not showing in the admin -> extras -> link categories. So, when I right click on the "image" to see the properties, it is showing the path "www.qualityitemsofmontana.com/qiofm//qiofm/images".

Why would there be two "qiofm" and two "//" instead of one? Obviously this doesn't work, but I don't know how to fix it.

The good news, is every time there is a challenge we learn more about how to fix the next one and someone else may learn too!

    Thanks!

    Chris

I just submitted two test links, they should contain the default image.

check admin -> extras -> links

click the edit button for both of these links and check the content(s) of the image URL field. it should show as links_image/links_default.jpg

Also when I check the category image on your links page it pointed to the correct directory qiofm/images/link_categories

I received both emails indicating that you submitted links.

In admin -> extras -> links under edit, it shows as images/links_image/links_default.jpg for your submitted image in the URL field.

However, in admin -> extras -> links, it shows both of the links you submitted, but your image does not show. When I "right click" on the image and check the properties of the image, it shows "http://www.qualityitemsofmontana.com...//qiofm/images." It has that double "qiofm" and "//."

    Hmmm....

    Thanks for your help!

Im hoping someone can help me with this problem. I've searched all over the internet and the forums but didnt find an answer. The name of my website is www.ribbonsbaskets.com using zencart 1.3.8 We just installed the links manager about a week ago and love it. The only problem is the links are all messed up. The description and the title are links. If I change the option in the admin to make the descrptions not links it makes the title not links as well. Take a look by clicking on the link page at the bottom. Any help would be appreciated!!

There is a fix for this problem located here

    Just download the zip file

unzip the file and download the entire includes folder to your server.

There might be a couple of reasons for this; the most common is that the text was copied and pasted into the description area and there were line breaks at the end of each line as you are seeing them.

You can try and fix this either by re-entering/editing them through admin -> extras -> links

    OR

You can try to edit them directly in the database table via phpmyadmin.
