That's weird. I posted a reply to this thread hours ago and now it's gone!

Not sure what you are referring to - forms? The options for the boots are just attributes. Let me know if I have mis-understood your question.

After I made my initial post, I did fiddle some more and got to the point that you saw. It's still not entirely "clean" looking, but it a lot better.

If you look at the same product in IE, the product description is way off to the right. Whereas, in Firefox, it looks just fine.
It may be a matter of a IE CSS hack. Hopefully someone can help out with that please!

    Thanks for clarification.
I thought that this stuff might be computing a price, according to attribute chosen. That would be a nice topic to investigate.

Will give it a shot. What version of IE are you using to look at it? 6?

I checked it with Web Developer toolbar in Firefox.
I think that there is something similar for IE, but unsure because I don't use IE to develop.
I do check in it though, as a concession to the masses that still use that.
Yes, there's a big difference in those browsers, checked with IE7.
Nested inside the Div #ProductDescriptionWrapper, input by the mod, there is another one: div #productDescription .productGeneral .
This div is being pushed to the right in IE.
Look for that div in your main and additional stylesheets, when you find it, adjust the margin accordingly.

Although there are a lot of Validation errors, these two should be fixed first.

    No such animal as "defer"

    …teSeal/alphassl_siteSeal_m.js" defer>

Missing a closing DIV tag somewhere within:

    <div id="navColumnOneWrapper" style="width: 160px"><!--// bof: categories //-->

    ...

    <!--// eof: blanksidebox //-->

    </div></td>

    ckosloff and Robb,

    Thanks for your help.

I did adjust the margin ... I knew it was something obvious!

Robb - that alpha seal code - that is their creation, not mine. And any change to the code renders the thing useless. Silly, ain't it!?

I haven't figured out the missing </div> yet.

This missing </div> is causing that div to jut out of the wrapper in IE.
There aren't many options to look around.
Try tpl_product_info_display.php in your custom template first.

    Hello,

I had this working fine for a while, and it still seems to work fine with firefox, but now with ie8.0 the product description is not aligning to the right of the images (and additional images), and the div ends up being below the images. Take a look at... www.wholesale4realtors.com

I'm aware there's a script error having to do with dynamic price updater, and I'm addressing that, but the error was happening prior to this issue happening, so it should be unrelated...

Any idea what is causing this or how to correct the issue?

    Thanks,

    Brian

I just installed IE8 in another machine, haven't done much testing with it yet.
Please post a direct URL to a page where you are having the problem, not the home page, and I will take a look.

So I went through the site with IE8.
Didn't see too many problems, not the one you mention, for that I need a specific URL.
Here are my suggestions: Some images overlap the description, to fix this there a number of options.
    1) Adjust the left margin of the div in the stylesheet included with the mod.
    2) Turn off right column in Admin, that will give the whole site more room and a less cramped look.

Now I have questions for you.
The last attribute: if Yes, attach file...Browse.
    How did you do that?
Also, the text area for Information for the front.
I don't use those attributes and am curious as to how they are done.

Thanks for getting back to me... Well, I'm not sure what the reason is, but this screenshot is an example of how I am seeing it on ie8...

by the way, the link above went to the product specifically, but here's a link to the one in the screenshot http://www.wholesale4realtors.com/ca...roducts_id=193. ;)

I just turned off the right column, and I'll mess with that later... I've been meaning to do that anyway. :) Should help the format on a few other pages as well, but it still didn't fix what I'm seeing in ie8, and actually I just tried it on another laptop running ie7 and got the same result. It's not the margins, because the problem it they are on seperate lines altogether in some browsers.

    Now to answer your questions...

Under option names you have choices for "Text" and another for "File" You can define the text length and muti-line after editing the option post creation. With files you just have to define what files you'll accept, which is under Admin Panel -> configuration -> Max Value
