I tried to follow the instructions with the program loaded. Which other configs are there other than the ones listed under configuration ? The address given of course was wrong....was just so you knew where the site was.
Have tried the address:
www.centraltrailer.com/cart/index_mainpage?pricelist

and others to no avail.

1) It is very important that you follow the directions given in the readme.txt file
2) There are no other "configs" other than the ones listed under configuration in your admin.
3) Of course you can make changes in various php/css files that will effect the way the pricelist will be displayed.

I would suggest that you check each file location to make sure they have been placed in the correct directory.

Also, double check that the your edits in your existing files are correct. (Make sure that you are using text editing software that does not add unseen characters to your files- e.g. do not use Microsoft word etc.).

It is also very important (as the author states) "to load pricelist-3.sql (includes three profiles) to your zen-cart database using the zen sql tool (admin=> Tools :: Install SQL Patches). To load the sql (copy and paste into the text area, do NOT use the file upload feature!). In rare cases the tool does not work, use phpMyAdmin in those cases (think about adding the table prefix if needed)."

Followed the directions.....reloaded all files and sqls......put the define in the english.php and the echo file in the template file.....how do you know which template file to put the echo file into ?

put a link in the footer to: index.php?main_page=pricelist.....and get page not found.

Sorry for being so dumb but this seems to be another third party progam I cannot get working.

The fact that pricelist is not working is not dumb at all. I looked at your site and it has a number of interesting features.

What troubles me is that you can not directly go to your pricelist URL. I believe that you neither need to add any english.php information, nor do you need to add the a link to your active template files for the price list to be available at index.php?main_page=pricelist. That is what lead me to believe that a file(s) was/were in the wrong place.

Now I really screwed it up.......now when I go to my shopping cart all I get is a blank screen with the following in the upper left corner.

Text_PL_Header_Title

Text_PL_Screen_Intro

How do I get my shopping cart main page back.

Martin not really, my point is that the added statement in english.php or the added echo '<br /><a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PRICELIST) . '">' . CATEGORIES_BOX_HEADING_PRICELIST . '</a>'; to one of the the template files (depending on where you want the link to show up) are not necessary for the Internal Link URL: index.php?main_page=pricelist to function.

If the above is the case then some process in the install may have been incorrectly done.

Just went to your site and at this time your shopping cart seems fine. However, you may want to add information as suggested - "You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)"

The instructions say to put the files in the includes folder.
Does the template_default need to go somewhere else.
Which templte file does that go into ?

In the ZIP file you will see a folder named includes.

Under the includes folder you will see 7 file folders. Under most of these folders you will see additional file folders. And under some of them you will see some more folders. Most of the folders are the folders that came with ZC.
Under template_default and under pages you will see a folder named pricelist. This folder is NEW. You must add this folder to your site under the appropriate folder. You can then add the correct files into these folders.

I do understand about the folder template_default and it's contents. I gues I do not understand where to put the contents on my sites files on the server. At the present time the template_default folder is in the ctstore template file as template_default. It is the only folder in that template directory.

The template_default folder is also in the cart template file and has a folder of price list.

I do not know how to tell you any better about my upload.

If you could send me an e-mail maybe I can do a better job.
