If you create a category 'Auction' then you would have it listed with your other categories and the ability to manage it the same as other categories.

Having a table on all the pages just listing auction products like the 'New Products' would make for good advertising. Another bit of coding to add..

Just a quick note... I finished packaging my changes and did a quick test on a clean 1.3.8a cart. I haven't tried doing other language files, so no change there. Some of the things added or fixed...

Bug Fixes
-update product page to work on Nifty Corners layout
-Fixed end of auction email logic for sending won, lost emails.
-Fixed a bug in the extra image pop-up to allow for fuel slimbox to work.
-Removed tax calculation during product creation. Site Tax is done at checkout.

-Added failed to reach reserved emails.
-Added auto add product to winner cart.
-Added switch to turn off or on auto product add, off and the pay now button will display and function as before.
-Added admin control for viewing, editing and resetting auctions, added the ability to mail auction participants.

-Added a time to auction end countdown.
-Added help pop-up and define page
-Redesign product page layout to work with 1.3.8a better and Nifty Corners.

I uploaded all the files again and ran the update sql ptach from 0.99a and there is a bug. Maybe I upgraded wrong

I had a problem too with version 1.0, I installed it on a fresh zencart installation and found that the auction products would not display. I then downgraded to version .99a and everything worked, then I upgraded to version 1.0, this time it worked apart from the auction product image would not display. Finally I downgraded back to version .99a and all is working.
I would like to use this mod on a production e-store so is there any news on the next bug fix version?

I just tested once more on a clean install on 1.3.8a and all worked, had some missing titles but images and everything else work!

I've only tested with php 5, mysql 5, and Apache 2.0, but my live site is running mysql 4 and all is working grate.

This was a quick turnaround so I would expect bugs, just can't seem to reproduce them. If you can say what your running it on may help me to find them.

For some reason when I add an auction product it does not show.
Here is my test page:

On the middle right you will see Diamond Ring.
Click it and it doesn't come up.

Does anybody know what's wrong?
I have the ebay exporter mod installed.

Displaying of the additional image is done differently then the main products images. I modified this a bit so the 'Fuel Slimbox' and additional images would work, but I didn't change the logic. May have to work through it when I get more time.

If your site is heavily modified templates, then you should be thinking about changing the default layout of the auction product page, also if includes\templates\template_default\common\tpl_columnar_display.php was deleted or modified, then the images would not show and the code would error and stop the display. This is a standard common file, not part of the mod.

You can test this by commenting out line 128 in includes\templates\YOUR_TEMPLATE\templates\tpl_product_auction_info_display.php

The main image uses the same standard image call as your main product pages and should work.

This image shows how the images line up, also, the main image on top is slightly larger then the rest.
