Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I am going to test newer versions of IH2.
So far, I have been updating my old version with some "patches" as they became available on the thread.
I notice a big difference between the old version that I am using and newer versions: a new folder has been added called "shopad".
I think yellow added this folder.
Would you be so kind as to explain what this does?

I have looked long and hard at the shopad folder.
This is exactly the same as the files that go into the admin folder, which is already there.
It is a dupe, therefore no reason for it to be there at all.
Anybody?

One more thing:
in admin/modules there is category_product_listing.php and category_product_listing.php.patch
What is the purpose of the .patch file?

I have tried running the mod both with and without SHOPAD...and have not found any differences in how things work on my site or in admin.

Which further proves the point that shopad is a dupe, that is not referenced by the other files in IH2.

right...I wonder if the author was using it as some kind of dupe set of files to keep handy while he made changes...but either forgot (or for some reason chose not) to delete them when uploading the contribution.

You might have noted that the latest version in the downloads area repeats this mistake, instead of correcting it.
Confusing for guys who download thinking it's the latest and greatest.

Do you have additional images turned on?

In Admin
Catalog->Product Types
Product General (assuming this is what you want to edit) ->edit layout
Make sure that Show Product Additional Images is set to 1 (true).
