Yes, we use both. You have to be careful when merging the code in functions_prices since they both modify the same function, but it works well.

I am setting up a new zencart and saw your post that you sucessfully use MSRP & MAP pricing mods together.
May I ask what version of zencart are you using?

I am using 1.3.8.
I do not have experience coding any web based code. Just some VB and a little C#. I am trying to figure out how to install both these mods.

I looked through the files, but am uncomfortable with what parts to insert into the 1.3.8 files for the MAP pricing mod(since it is in 1.3.6 files when you download it.) I also saw that the MSRP mod used some of the same files, so I know I could not upload the files from both mods seperatly.

Do you have any guidance on how you determined what parts to get from the mod files and merge into the server files.

How would you go about having the MSRP price displayed only to anonymous users vs the discounted price to registered users?
If anybody could point me to the mechanisms for checking logged vs anonymous users I might be able to figure it out myself!

You might want to try the Hidden Wholesale add on for that.

Looks like the "hidden wholesale" contribution would not work for what I need. The documentation states that it's an "either/or" type scenario, where the products are either wholesale or retail, and at best you can show both to the wholesaler.
The issue I have is the cart is being used for wholesalers. The approach so far has been to block the store for everybody, and show prices only to users that are authorized to shop, via a registration approval.
The customer feels he's missing leads, so he'd like to display the MSRP (high and public) to discourage any consumers, but to attract potential wholesalers (they usually know they can get a good discount)
So what I really need is to display the "MSRP" for anonymous users and hide the "store price", while displating both for registered users.
Makes sense?

A logged in customer should have a session variable $_SESSION['customer_id']. So you could check for that to tell the difference.
