Default Adding PayPal - getting tep_db_query error

Help! I'm just getting started. Someone else set up my ZenCart, but he is no longer around. It is only set up to use Authorize.net. I want to use PayPal. How do I add that to my cart? I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8a.

    Thank you for your help.

Here is the error that I receive when I go into Modules and Payment in my back office. It only shows Authorize.net, and doesn't let me install PayPal.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_db_query() in /home/content/s/u/c/successbooks/html/catalog/includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_cc_aim.php on line 272

"tep_db_query" is an old osCommerce function. Zen Cart doesn't use that, so you must have installed some osCommerce code onto your Zen Cart store. DOING THAT WILL BREAK YOUR STORE. Best to remove whatever you added, and put back the Zen Cart versions of those files instead.

Since I'm not the one who did my cart, how do I know what i need to get rid of? Or how do I know what to change?

Ask the one who did your cart...

If anyone will know what was done, I trust it will be the one who did your cart...

Unfortunately, I don't have contact with the person who set up the cart. He messed so many things up, I really don't want to go back to him anyway. I don't think he would know how to fix it. Any other ideas, anyone?

Since Zen Cart doesn't *have* a file named /includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_cc_aim.php, DELETE THE FILE.
Also delete the file by the same name in your /includes/languages/english/modules/payment folder.
