how do i define meta descriptions from content?

I have already set the keywords manually and would like define the keywords from whatever "content" is on the page.

how can I do that? I searched around and couldn't find anything. But something tells me that someone has done it :)

No, the products generate their own tags & meta descriptions for those pages but...

there are pages that we can define cutom meta descriptions for but these are general pages and should have their own meta descriptions.

I don't want all my main pages & links to have the same keywords and meta content.
