I actually have PHP 5.2.11 on the server.

I still recommend installing v1.05. Folks who've had issues getting 1.06 to install seem to have no issues installing v1.05. Honestly without seeing your store we are all kinda guessing what might be happening. I had all kinds of issues with versions 1.06 - 1.06b, but v 1.06c installed perfectly..

Here's the deal, the ONLY thing you gain from the 1.06 flavors of TPP is the cj_loader app and the ability to create tabs from WordPress posts. These aren't showstoppers IMO.. Roll back to v1.05 and see if you don't have better results..

Wow, that did it! I also noticed that version 1.6 does not have any stylesheet_tpp.css file.

Actually, v1.06 does have css styling.

I have a site that uses Paul Hailey's BOOK PRODUCT TYPE. This is an extensive and comprehensive add-on that will turn your zenshop into a proper bookshop.

We have a big problem..

We installed the mod.

but for some reason " add to cart " button is not showing on Product_info_dislay page.

we messed around and noticed that it disappears when we have
" do not duplicate" javascript at the bottom of the file.

if we take

out...."Add to Cart Button " shows up.

but at the same time, everything else is duplicated.

Help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.


Additionally, it works fine in original zen cart Product_info_Display file, but NOT in our custom Template Product_info_Display

any ideas/ thought/ solutions?

I can put my full php code from the file here is someone wants to look at it.

I'm frustrated with this module. I had the lite version installed a few years ago and remember having lots of issues with getting it to run. The instructions on how to install this version are poor and do not at all match up with the files nor make it clear what to do. For example, there are multiple SQL files and it does not make it clear if you are to run upgrade or a different one. Not good. And the list of which files to install does not match up with the list of files included with the download. There are lots of readme files all over the place. A mysterious bunch of files and folders - do we copy those over? It's a mess!

Anyway, like many people in the history of this thread, I got the whole website blank issue. No one has ever really answered that properly except to say go back and see what you did incorrectly. I went through file by file and deleted each one (they were all right where they ought to have been) and when I got to the tpp file and directory under my template, my website just came back. Not good at all! Something is definitely suspect about this way of coding and giving confusing instructions. I guess I'll give it one more shot to remove and put the files over one at a time (what a freaking pain in the tush) and check after each one.

Seriously, fix the documentation and get rid of unnecessary files! And someone please make it clear what makes your whole website disappear!

Respectfully, I get you are frustrated, but screaming (electronically) at a support forum full of VOLUNTEERS is of no benefit to ANYONE.. I believe the issue with the site disappearing could be addressed if you would provide some INFORMATION that the VOLUNTEER community could use to help you figure out the issue.. Here's what would be helpful:

• What version of PHP is running on your webserver??
• What version of TPP are you running??

Seriously, fix the documentation and get rid of unnecessary files! And someone please make it clear what makes your whole website disappear!

Exactly who is your request/suggestion/order addressed to?? This ain't Microsoft.. There is no TEAM of developers taking requests or suggestions here.. Ths is an open source application. This module was written by a VOLUNTEER on their own time.. Please don't take this wrong, but honestly, if you think the readme could be improved, then YOU should VOLUNTEER to submit a new version of this module with an improved readme file. (versus demanding that "someone" do it) I contributed to a module just to improve the readme file because it needed a re-write. No reason why if you feel this is important, that you can't do this too..

That said, provide the information requested, and the community might be able to help..
