I just installed this MOD and I love it!!! The only trouble I had was the issue with "Ask a question" image/button. I made the change and voila!

    I have 3 questions, though:

    1. What is the URL field supposed to be used for?
    2. What is the image upload for?
    3. Is the email reply to the customer automatic, or do we send it manually after composing an answer?

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I'm not the author of this module. I only corrected some errors. I think, this module should be rewrited.

I think, maybe in the future I will rewrite this module in whole.

    Spelling Error:

In my case it was missing "a_"

It was "button_ask_question.gif" instead of "button_ask_a_question.gif"

Hi, I just installed this module. After fixing spelling error it seem to work OK. However I still have LARGE IMAGE problem. I Can download image via ADMIN, but it shows only ikon on the web site - it does not find LARGE IMAGE and shows "no picture available". Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Kate

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but can anybody tell me how to add a custom stylesheet to all FAQ pages?

Same as any other use of stylesheet, create a new document, add styles to it, save in includes\templates\YOUR_TEMPLATE\css\stylesheet_faq.css

You also need to edit the template files to include your stylesheet names ... class="plainBoxHeading" and so on. any file tpl_faq_ would need looking at.

    Thanks, that's simple enough.

However, I now have a problem where I get the error message "Sorry, the question was not found." when clicking on a FAQ to look at the answer. I didn't seem to have this problem before, and I'm 100% positive it's not related to the stylesheet addition since I reverted back to the original files. I would like to hack this module to work as much as possbile.

    Any idea about this error?

I've edited so much of this mod to reduce it to what I was looking for and make it work, I'd have a hard time pointing you to any point in the code. I know I had to change lots of the SQL quires to work right, I'd start there and check to see if the tables are complete. check the files
    includes\classes\faq_category_tree.php
    includes\classes\faqs.php

Is there any chance you would be able to share those files and export your tables? I would soooo love to try them in my shop. I think there's a good chance of success since these files are all independent. I'm sure there are a number of people who would love to see what you've accomplished.

Any chance you could package that stuff up? I really love where this mod is going but really need a better place to start from.

OK... I don't have time right now to clean it up or remove my formatting so you'll need to really look things over before going live with it. How it's setup on my site is what it is, I used a EZ page link to take visitors to the FAQ page, Internal Link URL: index.php?main_page=faqs_all

Anyway... I've setup a link for downloading my files on my blog for now in my ZC Mod section. Also has some explanation of what the files are.
