Jam Jrox Affiliate Integration & Customization Questions...

OK, I've managed to get the store designed and up and running without needing to post in the forums, but now that I'm installing the Jrox JAM affiliate program I'm totally stuck. I have two questions, one is very beginner and one is a bit more advanced...

1) Where can I locate $TotalAmount (Sale Amount variable to use) and the $TransID (Transaction ID variable to use)?

2) My client has roughly 30 products in her store, but wants to pay affiliate commissions on only ONE of those products. I asked Jrox if that could be done, and this was the answer I received:

you can probably set it to only one product by custom coding your cart, and if that cart can post the actual product ID that you want to pay commissions on to the thank you page where JAM will be integrated to generate commissions.

you will have to find out from zencart if they can post the product ID on to their thank you page, and from there, you can call the JAM integration code if that product ID has been purchased.

Any insight as to how to make THAT happen?

That's all taken-care-of by the JAM integration code supplied by JROX.

PayPal payment module

You're likely to have undesired results with affiliate tracking if you use the Website Payments Standard ("IPN") module. But if you use the Express Checkout module, you should be fine.

I know this is an older post but does this still hold true? I like the way Paypal IPN works and don't really want to switch to Express. I understand that there is a problem not recording ship to address in Admin/orders if one uses the Express version. Maybe I am wrong on this?
