I found references in other threads to replace the text in the header with an image.

However, the image appears below the header - not within it.

How can I get the image located in the proper space?

Additional Anomalies
I have been working in the ZJ Black template and was not checking my problems against any other templates (I know, shame on me...)

Using the ZJ Silver template - It Works!
Using ZJ Black2 tempalte - It Works!
Using the ZJ Orange Template - It Works! (Except that the images are taller than the standard header size)
Using Mother Earth Template - It Works... except the image replacing the SALES MESSAGE text appears twice...

So, I am deducing that I have an issue with the width of my graphics. The logo is 469px wide and the 'Sales Message' Image is 241px wide. So I wouldn't think that 710 pixels would beeee tooooo w i i i i d e...

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Additional Details....
I have assumed that the problem would be in the stylesheet.css or the tpl_header.php files. However, comparing the ZJ Black and ZJ Black2 files, they seem identical. (I say 'seem' because I feel I am overlooking the obvious).

Where else should I look to see why my HEADER_SALES_TEXT (now an image) appears after/below the logo.gif - rather than even with it...

Anyone have suggestions of where I can look?

I have spent many, many hours going through other posts in the 'Customization' forums and have learned a lot more about CSS and PHP. However, the solution to my problems still eludes me...

Recap Problem 1: Using the ZJ Black template the attribute pictures display vertically. Using the ZJ Black2 or ZJ Silver templates, the attribute pictures display horizontally. How can I tweak the ZJ BLack template to get the pictures to display horizontally?

Recap Problem 2: I have modified /includes/languages/english/header.php as follows:
Line #21 : define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '<img src="http://www.carded.biz/shop/images/tag.gif">');

This has correctly replaced the 'Tagline' text with an image. On all other ZJ Templates, it works correctly - however ZJ Black drops the image BELOW the header - not within the header_bg.jpg background.

In searching through other topics in other forums, I have found lots of information about placing images throughout pages, but I have not been able to discover why this particular template behaves in this peculiar fashion.

I was hoping that someone was monitoring this thread and could point me in the right direction... Is anybody listening?

If anyone wants examples, I am willing to switch templates for them to demonstrate what I am experiencing.

I think that the ZJ Templates are exceptional - I am hoping I have found the right place to get my questions answered.

Possible Alternative:
The ZJ Black2 template works correctly... If no one has anwers for my problems, perhaps it is easier to modify ZJ Black2? I want only a single column - not double-wide. Can I suppress the left column and permit the product pages to spread wider? Also, can I suppress the "New Products" box abouve the columns?

Can anyone refer me to another thread that can help me with figuring out why the ZJ Black2 & ZJ Silver templates work for me, but I cannot get the ZJ Black to work?

Any response is appreciated...

I know I'm monitoring it for a solution to the PCI compliance issue. Considering its free software I doubt anyone is in much hurry to respond.

I am sorry to hear you are so cynical about getting a response.
I have had good success getting assistance from others in other ZC forums. 'Misty' in particular deserves kudos for her help.

I thought that this was the best place to get responses for issues with 'ZJ' tempaltes, but I have found many good answers elsewhere.

As predicted, my problems were self inflicted. Somewhere, I corrupted a file. In comparing header.php, stylesheet.css and english.php they are the same as files from websites that work! ...I would learn even more if I knew where I went wrong...

I have not hoped for someone to fix my problem, just to point me to the right files or parameters so I can learn. Failing that, I will erase and reload my templates and start over - never learning form my mistake.

While this forum has not been responsive, I am confident that other 'Zenners' will continue to help each other in other forums.

Ok so I merged some code from the zj_black to my own template. I wanted the jquery features. I am having an issue with the carousel however; How do I limit it to only loading the additional product image size? It's currently [I believe] loading all image sizes [additional, small product, _med, _large] into the carousel.
