Just another Cross-Sell mod (support thread)

Hello,

I have installed "cross sell - just another mod sell mod" rev 186 onto a v1.3.8 sen cart.
I installed mod manager first
All went smoothly, although there was some reference to an sql file, but i did not find one.

The cross sell works, but I can not get it to work in mutiple columns, only in 1 column 6 rows.

Please could you suggest a place to look?

I have just downloaded and installed / uninstalled multiple times - have module manager installed first. Using Zen Cart 1.3.8
I've read through the entire thread, the included instructions and don't find a solution that works.

I just had the same problem! On a fresh install of Zen I installed the Module Manager first (and it seemed to work fine), then I installed "Cross Sell - Just Another Cross Sell Mod" module. I followed ALL the instructions to a tee and I get the damned error Fatal error: Class 'yclass' not found in . . . /admin/includes/functions/extra_functions/xsell_advanced.php on line 18!!!

So I read through this forum post and someone had said that you must first install the original cross-sell mod, then the second "Advanced Cross Sell" mod, then the Module Manager mod, and finally this mod. Seems CRAZY -- but I did just that. Things worked fine with the install of the first two mods and module manager, but when I installed this one again it gave me the SAME DAMN ERROR!!! Ugghh :-(

Now, I have two questions:

(a) Why is this soooo complex? Can someone combine these mods so we have one working mod that is "perfect". This would be a great contrib if someone could do that. :-)

(b) What are the advantages of this mod versus just stopping at the Advanced Cross Sell mod?!? Am I really missing out if I just leave it at that and call it a day?

So ....

Has anyone managed to get add to cart buttons for each of the We Recommend Cross Sell Products?

One page on which a customer can click everything they want would be ideal ....

Install Module Manager Rev. 1.6 That has the yclass that everyone is looking for.

Someone emailed me regarding the version of this module not working with the new module manager, this has been mentioned on the google code download page as a warning so you should have noticed it when downloading the new version.

I appreciate the person for emailing me regarding the issue, but I don't think it helps to email anonymously without leaving an email address or anything to contact, please do not do it again.

Anyhow, here is a version that should work with the new MM, I have tested it on my FireFox and things work well with no js error, so if you encounter a js error please post your browser, name, version along with the js error.

Just installed the updated version found here and I have a big problem.

My entire admin area comes up as a white page - I can't even bring up the login page!

The storefront is fine, still shows and works properly - with that said I'm assuming its a file that I upload from the mod's admin folder.

Any suggestions?

I ran the 'found extra space' debug utility and it came up fine, no bad files and no UTF-8 BOM.

I'm also running the enable error log utility and either I'm not generating the error or its taking its sweet time writing the debug file. Either way still waiting....

I'm having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM! I installed Module Manager (rev 18), and then this Module- and my entire admin screen is now BLANK!

PLEASE if anyone knows how to correct this- LET ME KNOW ASAP please... I'm begging here...

I just tried the version yellow1912 posted- but still same results. Any ideas here guys?
