Weird characters on top page

thats UTF-8 BOM signature . you editing your files with editor set to UTF-8 character encoding . zencart files are set to ISO_8859-1 . although you still can edit while your editor is set to uft-8 , you should disable BOM signature from within editor .

those character will have some effect on your pages , specially rendering CSS correctly .

Hi Tony,

I'm using ultraedit to modify the css and dreamweaver to edit the php page, what should i do now?

a. re-open all .css file and edit it again using other software editing? ( any recommendations? )

b. Re-edit all files including the .php in dreamweaver and upload it again?

c. any how to change existing editor to make it comply with zen cart standard utf?

Finally the problem solved,

what i do is i modified the language file in includes/languages/english.php at this line:



i change it to utf-8.

hopefully someone get benefit from this.
