I have been using Super Orders successfully and really like it. Recently, I noticed a bug. Although I searched this thread, I didn't find anything. It seems that in the address field in the details of the order, a zip code with an initial zero does not display the initial zero. It shows up in the customer database. Not on the order. Could someone let me know if it is a known bug? If there is a quick fix or if this was, perhaps, fixed in the latest version? (I haven't updated to the latest version because of the issue with MasterCard. I have to be ready to install and patch at the same time and time hasn't allowed.)
If by the "issue with MasterCard" you mean the issue where payments made via Master Card did not show the correct payment type, this is fixed in the new version..
as for the other item you are citing, I dunno if it's a reported bug or not.. Never knew this was a specific issue, and haven't tested for it.. and before you ask, IF it is an issue, off the top of my head I wouldn't begin to know how to fix it..The new version of SO is basically a consolidation of posted bug fixes and module corrections posted by the many good ppl who have graced this thread and shared their knowledge over the last three years..
The new version was born out of my frustration of having to apply a GROCERY list of posted fixes to Super Orders each and every time I installed it for my clients.. So I created a patched version for myself and shared it with the community..

Sorry, but I'm not seeing that on my version. I go to Customers->SuperOrders, then click on the blue "D" to get details of the order. The zip looks fine under the customer/billing/shipping addresses. Is this where you're seeing the problem?
Can anyone explain to me what is Order Payment Tracking in super order. i don't understand what is that for. it says in the read me file that there are 3 buttons at the side. any help would be appreciated
Simply put you can enter payments received against orders.. Some specifics of what you are unclear about would be helpful.. Not sure what three buttons you are referring to (doesn't appear to be any reference to three buttons in the readme). Have you installed Super Orders??
Order Payment Tracking
---------------------------
Super Orders includes the ability to enter and track payment data. The Super Orders payment system can track all of the following scenarios:
* Multiple PO's
* Multiple payments
* Multiple payments per PO
* Multiple refunds per payment
* Multiple refunds per order
Opening the details screen for any order will display the payment system. There you'll find buttons to add the three types of payment data:
1. Purchase Orders
2. Payments
3. Refunds
Clicking any one will bring up a pop-up window to enter the details for that particular entry type. When you are done, the pop-up will close and return you to the original page, refreshing it to display your new entry.
Buttons to edit and delete payments are on the line listing the payment. Click the corresponding button to modify the entry or remove it entirely. I think it's pretty self-explanatory, but please post on the forum thread if you have problems or questions.

You're welcome.. FYI, this was covered in the Super Orders readme file..
Payment Types
------------------
The payment system now also allows the user to specify the type of payment being entered. For instance, if the payment is cash, simply select "Cash" from the dropdown; if it's a credit card payment, select the proper Credit Card company, or just choose "Credit Card" for lesser known providers.
Furthermore, the system allows the user to add/edit/delete the available payment types to suit his or her needs. Go to: Admin > Localization > Payment Types

How do you track orders? where do you go? and what is the payment system for? can u give me a situation. i understand the refund. is the payment button lets you add additional payments from the customer?
Super Orders replaces the default order management.
Admin > Customers > Orders
is replaced by
Admin > Customers > Super Orders
From the readme file
It's what I previously stated.. It let's you enter payments, refunds or P.O.s for your orders. (Something the default orders management DOES NOT allow you to do since there IS no such thing as entering order payments in the default Zen Cart order management.)Super Orders is exactly what its name implies: Zen Cart order management on steroids. It's more in all the areas Zen users are asking for more:
- more navigation options
- more order control
- more thorough data
- more detailed reports.
But it's NOT more than you can handle. The system was designed for data entry clerks (some of the least-technically inclined people on the planet). You're a Zen user. You can handle it.
