I am currently using version 1.38a, installed from a c-panel through Fantastico. The site is up and running fine. When I view the "page source" info it still reads as follows:

<meta http-equiv="imagetoolbar" content="no" />
<meta name="author" content="The Zen Cart™ Team and others" />
<meta name="generator" content="shopping cart program by Zen Cart™, http://www.zen-cart.com eCommerce" />
What file do I use to change the title info. Google is indexing pages with the "Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce" as the page title.
I can't seem to find the right pages to make a full site change to my own site name.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hopefully you've created custom folders for the override system and are putting the edited file in includes/languages/english/custom/meta-tags.php.

Yes, Make sure you create a Custom Template folder for each section of pages and files that you edit. If you do not, you will learn the hard way.

I have the same issue the soures autthor is zen, generator zen cart, but, i don't have the tags in my meta-tags.php file nor are the in the original file.

Ummm.. the author is Zen Cart and the generator is Zen Cart.
