Cold Steel Template Support Thread

I am not sure why that is? Maybe you can help me speaking in general terms then. Any ideas as to why the contents in my define_main_page.php would be shifting right and not aligning within the main wrapper? I have turned off the left side navigation column and all that is showing on my main page is the header, contents of define_main_page.php within the main wrapper, footer, and copyright.

If the following is what you have as your define_main_page.php, then that is the problem.

You have duplicate <html><head> </head> <body> </body> </html> elements which are breaking the site.

An upgraded version of Cold Steel Template compatible with ZC v1.3.9 should be available in the downloads section shortly.

first of all, thank you very much for a great template.
second, i would like help with these things:

1. i would like to use a different color in the background for all of the boxes on the left, as well as the categories box. just tell me what files they are in.

2. the search box in the upper right corner disappears in ie6. (not that big of a deal)

3. i would like to add a link to my image gallery in the information window. (i know, not template specific)

4. i would like to rename the information window (also not template specific)

1. You can change the background color by modifying the following: stylesheet_betterCategoriesEzInfo.css and stylesheet.css
2. I don't use IE6 nor do I have access to it so I can't help on this one.
3. open includes/moules/sideboxes/information.php and following the pattern(s) for the links in order to add your own links.

Version 1.0 is not compatibile with ZC 1.3.9 ? What are the differences ?

The differences are in some of the ZC core files used in the template that have changed with 1.3.9a

If you are still using 1.3.8a use version 1.0

If you have upgraded to 1.3.9a use version 2.0

There is a new installation folder and an upgrade folder included with version 2.

If you are already using the template then use the files in the upgrade folder. The upgrade will not overwrite any changes you have made to your main page, stylesheet.css, buttons or images.

Note that the template_info.php still say's Version 1.0 in the v2.0 package - both upgrade and new install files.
