OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Another thing I found, but I don't know if it applies to all version of Super_Orders, but it is not in 47, 48 or 48a.

There must not be a lot of people using Super_orders that have download files.

In the /admin/includes/languages/english/super_orders.php I had to add these 2 lines

define('TEXT_INFO_EXPIRED_DATE', 'Expired Date:<br />');
define('TEXT_INFO_EXPIRED_COUNT', 'Expired Count:<br />');

I found the blank screen fix too by checking my error log. Still have the "green dot only" issue though. From what I can tell, the logic itself is in a core file ->

/admin/includes/modules/orders_download.php

Weird part is ... it doesn't require an edit for SuperOrders! And the only change is with the function, otherwise the file is identical to the 1.3.8a version.

It's likely that this has been "non-functional" from inception.. and you are right.. it's MOST likely that there are not a lot of customers using Super Orders with download files.. I have only ONE client who does, and I will apply this fix to his site post haste..

It appears that the code is ok, but I had to sync the Icons with the database as I had a green icon but 0 downloads. By manually entering the command to turn it on, it made it work the way it is supposed to from then on.

BY this I mean, my icon was green but the downloads were set to 0. When I manually gave the command to reset them instead of clicking on the icon, it worked fine after that.

Im searching for a way in super order when viewing all order that instead of showing customer it would show me company name can someone pint me to the correct files to modify..

Thank you, JTheed, for taking the time to figure this out for us rare download product birds. I'd gotten the definitions solved on my own, but the dreaded blank screen and inability to reset downloads had me scratching my head. Thank you again. You rock! :)

Back again to ask for help with a couple of things.

I've been using Super Orders for nearly a year. I use it with downloadable products, started with Zen 1.3.8a and now up to 1.3.9b. Since the upgrades to 1.3.9 and Super Orders 2.0, the Zen Free Charge Card no longer displays as the payment method on free orders. Now the payment method shows as Gift Certificate/Coupon. How can I get the correct display back?

Second issue is a bit trickier. I love everything about Super Orders, and I wholeheartedly agree with the description that it's more in every way than Zen's built-in order admin. Except in one very important way, searching by order criteria.

Prior to upgrades, I had combined the search code from Zen orders (admin/orders.php) with Super Orders (admin/super_orders.php) and it worked like a charm to display the search forms and give results on any criteria. Now it doesn't do a thing. The search forms still display as they should, nothing breaks when I enter criteria, and I see the search filter showing the criteria I've just put in, but I no longer get any results; I just stay on whatever order page I was on when searching.

I've tested a variety of coding changes but nothing has worked to restore full search capabilities to Super Orders. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)

I sure hope you made a BACKUP First!

Did you read thru this thread and put in the necessary corrections?
Did you merge the necessary files?
Did you install the SQL part of SuperOrders?
Which Version of SuperOrders?
