OLD Super Orders 2.0 (See v3.0 thread instead)

Hello. We are using ZC 1.3.7 with Super Orders Id: super_orders.php 43 2006-08-29. We have not upgraded because the programmer that built the site made a lot of custom hacks throughout to meet the client's needs.

Anyways, we are having problems with the "EDIT ORDER TOTALS" function on CANADIAN orders. I place a Canadian order and the totals are displayed as follows...

Sub-Total: CDN $317.96
5% GST: CDN $15.90
United Parcel Service: CDN $24.67
Total: CDN $358.53
Amount Applied: $0.00
Balance Due: $358.53

The problem occurs when I press "EDIT ORDER TOTALS". The numbers that show up in the fields are in USD currency, including the Sub-Total which cannot be edited. When I press submit after adding a 20% discount (custom hack), the numbers are all messed up... (messed up = displayed in USD instead of CAN)... It is not pulling currency information. See the fields...

Membership Discount Code -$62.40

United Parcel Service: $24.21
Total: $289.41
Amount Applied: $0.00
Balance Due: $294.94

You can see that the numbers are different.

Unfortunately, this has been a problem as far back as 2006 when SO2 was released and it was never fixed. A user by the name of s_mack had volunteered to figure out a fix and give it to Blindside, but apparently, this did not happen. He hasn't posted in this thread since 2006 and did not post a fix back then. DivaVocals is correct in that it is using the Store's Default currency to make the changes and then stores it all back to the database, so it overwrites your original totals. I've looked for hours now and it is beyond my capabilities to correct it. See posts 73 and 74 in this thread and it will explain why this is happening.

Hi,

I just clicked on Batch Status Update, did a search, and then it asked me to login again. So I logged in and then clicked on a link and it asked me to log in again. So I logged in again and clicked on a link and it asked me to log in ...again.

So now I'm stuck and I don't know what to do. I can't click on anything in admin without it asking me to log in again.

Please help!!!!

It's likely that a file is missing in your install.. Try re-installing Super Orders and see if that corrects the issue.

I'm having almost the same issue but it's not with batch but with regular search on the orders page.

The problem is that CUSTOMER is experiencing this "back to login page" but I've tried to replicate the issue and I don't get it. She has 5 sites and she has same issue on all of them just after I installed the module.

Any other customer has complaint about this and I use SO myself and never have that problem neither.

I suggested her to upgrade from IE7 to IE8, was that good? Any ideas of what's up?

She's using 1.3.8a and this is an upgrade from 1.3.5.

Gonna be honest.. I don't think this issue has anything to do with Super Orders at all.. I don't have a clue what, but since Super Orders is simply the default orders page on steroids, there's really nothing in the code that would cause the issue..

I agree with divaVocals, it would not cause a login problem. Are all 5 sites on the same server or host?
I'd FTP in and either look at the files or download the store, install it on another system and see if the problem is still there. If it's on Linux, did the .htaccess file get changed?
Was this REV48a that you installed and you said it was a 1.35 to 1.38 Did this happen at the same time or a while before you installed SO2?

IE wouldn't have that effect either. So this happens only when the customer does a search on the orders list page. All of that code is in the /admin/super_orders.php file. Did you replace this one?

Yes, I did. Actually, I reuploaded all the files of SO within admin.

Did you re-upload the SAME files that you did originally? If so, I would try downloading it again and re-upload them just in case something went wrong with the originals.

I will try that, just to see what happens. I will also ask the customer to know if she continues having the issue.

I am still working on testing and compiling all of the changes (nearly all of them thanks to the WONDERFUL JTheed) I also wanted to make sure that any changes to the default orders.php files are incorporated into the super_orders.php files..

Work and client obligations have had me slammed so I haven't had a lot of spare time for testing mods and such (I'm also working with ckosloff and others on the upcoming IH2 updates as well). I hope to get more done this week, and if the stars align just right maybe I can submit the Rev 49 files this weekend..
