Is there a means to make the check box next to "Same Address for Shipping/Billing" already checked so that the Shipping Address is by default hidden?

Yes, please read all of the admin configuration options. I believe it is called "Copy Billing".

I have just tried to instll this on a clean install of 1.3.9b and then FEC1.8 I have installed the CSSJscript loader as per the instructions. nothing else installed at the moment no templates being used either.

I do not get a check out information page when I turn it on. it just shows the title Your order total and then the check out button.

I have been through this 3 or 4 times now and cannot see that I have missed any of the instructructions.

Check out is fine when turned off.

Any clues.

What is your zen-cart running on?

Linux or Windows, Version of PHP and IIS or Apache?
You can get all this info from the admin server info screen.

I'm using the USPS plugin. On the shopping cart page, the plugin works fine and shows the correct shipping amount.
Clicking "checkout" takes you to the FEC checkout, were at the top is the shopping cart details followed by the customer checkout form.

The shopping cart detail has a line for shipping but all that is there is:


Sub-Total: $48.95
: $0.00
Sales Tax: $0.00
Total: $48.95


Also, the State and Zip code entered on the USPS form are not brought forward into the checkout form.

To add addition clarification to my post about the missing shipping....
If the missing shipping info is ignored and the checkout form is completed, the next checkout page, the one just before passing off to Paypal, does have the shipping detail and amount correct.

I suppose I could try to turn off the "Shopping cart" details on the first checkout page.....but this is not ideal.

What USPS plugin is that? The one I have only does a shipping label.
