Image Handler 2 (for ZC v1.3.8 ONLY) Support

I have got it working correctly in Safari, Chrome, Opera and Firefox, unfortunately it breaks in IE, and owing to time pressure and lack of javascript knowledge I can't figure out the problem, although i am seriously thinking of putting a conditional statement in for IE so it uses the current code and the other browsers use the modified code

I have a feeling the IE fault should be simple to fix, but i can't get my head around it

OK I may have the IE Bug Quashed, but I can't test in earlier versions, i really don't know what I'm doing so its hacky

Hello all,

I am certainly not new to zen or to IH at all but I have a problem that is really getting me.

I recently upgraded a site to v 1.3.9c and I did this by installing fresh in a directory and adding mods and then moving it to "live" (root).

I now notice this problem though with image handler. It is NOT resizing images at all. The entries on the Configuration / Images are all correct (yes IH is set to resize images) .

Upon testing it also appears that the images aren't being pulled from the cache (on a new image applied using IH) but are showing the actual image as "normal" ( ie: images/PIC.jpg ).

Anyone got any ideas on this one?

Just a note - my problem has been fixed. It was a case of the GD Library not being installed on the server

Hello. I posted that I could not get this to work properly on zen cart 1.3.9b running on a php 5.3 server. But it works great on a zen cart 1.3.8a website running on a php 5.2 server. But no one replied. What is the progress on Image Handler 2 being updated for PHP 5.3 and zen cart 1.3.9?

Now I know how the Zen Cart team felt..

We are working on it.. If you are looking for a specific release date, I cannot give that to you. Those of us volunteering our time to work on this have to balance this VOLUNTEER project against our own work and home lives. So yes it is still being worked on, and as soon as we have it ready we will update the support thread..
