Not sure if it does... There is two steps in creating a data feed in Google before uploading one, Create it, Register, then upload it, this the mod wont do.

The feed folder should have been in the mod instructions and uploaded when installing the mod. Also you can set it in admin.

I've always created feeds myself and have feed writers for doing it with non-zen cart sites. I downloaded the feed and look at it to see if it was correct, then went through the process in Google to create the feed and upload. Once the feed is created in Google, then the Zencart mod will have no problems uploading.... it simply has to replace what's there already.

You can set the 'Output File Name' in admin. The '_products.xml' is added by the mod and needs to be there for product feeds. I use a shorten name for my feeds... 'whty_products.xml'

This is where your feed should be. I also use this folder for my rss\atom feeds.

So.... This is what I did.
1) installed and setup the mod, created a 10 product feed.
2) used my ftp program to download the xml file, check it.
3) went to Google and Created the feed by clicking on the 'New Data Feed' button.
4) Entered the feed country, feed type, and file name.
5) click on the manual upload, upload your file and then clam the feed.

That's about it.... if you have time, really look over the Google help.... some good info on editing feeds and getting the best listings.
Thanks. This was very helpful. What I did was ran the Zen admin Mod create and upload. Went into my FEED folder, checked that the file was there. Looked at the feed file, looked like all the required Google attributes were there. Then went into Google, created manually a data feed, than uploaed the Zen created file in the FEED folder. And it seemed to work ok. UPloaded 1500 product feeds. NO errors except for a "Warning" that my expiration was too long (i.e. beyond 30 days), but it still loaded all products.
