Hi Clyde,
Sorry for the delay in returning, an answer to you, but we have been out for the day, be off to bed in a short while.
I have done what you said finaly settled for 320px just what I wanted looks good in FireFox, but has made no difference in IE8, I have cleared all the history and every thing but it is still the same, have also changed the logos did not like what I had up.
Have you any ideas about IE8, will also have to download a couple more browsers and see what it looks like in them.
With many thanks
Peter
Hi Clyde,
I did not know you had to use different style sheets for different Browsers, Where do you get them from, I thought the style sheet done them all, just shows you how thick I am.
Do you know what you have to do, please guide me, as I say I just had no idea.
Many Thanks,
Hi Clyde,
Do not really want to worry you at the moment but should you have time to reply please do.
Many thanks.
generally speaking, you don't really need to use different stylesheets.
but for Internet explorer 6/7 it is sometimes useful to have a specific stylesheet to handle some of the quirky behaivor.
there is an ie specific stylesheet included with the template.
look in includes/templates/glacial_age/css/ie_stylesheet.css
Hi Clyde,
Hope all went well.
Thanks for your answer, I am using IE8, Do I have to used the ie_style sheet as the default sheet if so how do I get It to load.
Also on my large category pages the top line is bleeding into the next line, they are bold headlines is this any thing to do with the style sheet.
Thanking you in Advance.
Peter
