So in other words I have to modify all templates with my logo meta tag info, what add on I use and so on to get this to work. Ummm If this is the case sounds like a lot of work just to be able to switch templates. Is there an easier way Kobra?

Template switch is not meant for an operating site....
It is more for a demo site such as

Thank You for the info. The reason I even considered was some of my customer said it would be nice choose there on template while shopping. I think I will have to ponder on this for a while.

Look at the "bigs" amazom, walmart, etc
There is no template selection...
They have an image they want published and that is what you see

Good point Kobra. I have a section about web site improvements and a few customer mention it. I don't know how they know about it. Thank you again

This is a great mod, I have used it on earlier versions of zencart, can not seem to get it to work with the latest version, is there an update or known fix I can implement to get it to work?

I have one question. How does the site know what template is supposed to be the first one? Even if I choose one of the new templates as the default template, the visitor sees some version of the classic template that's left on the site. This doesn't matter if I put it in the templates.txt file or not. I want one of the other templates to be first viewed and do not want to name it classic for heavens sake.

I'm on 1.3.9h so it may be working differently on that version that the way it's intended.

I am using the latest version of Zen 1.3.9h

I have 5 templates installed
Patriot2
Gloss Black
Classic Contemporary Green
tm001
Apparel Boutique

I have made sure the template sidebox is in each template folder but all that has happened is that my site has now gone back to the default template and no matter what I do I cant change it to any other template.

Can someone please advise me on how to get this issue resolved.

One question is should the txt file contant the template folder names or just the names of the templates.
