Perhaps there is something else i am missing? As i have CHMOD to the highest setting, downloaded and edited the files. Then Re-uploaded.

So when i re-download the files the changes i have made are there.

I made sure i did this before posting as mentioned in other posts around the forums.

I mean CHMOD to lowest setting!

What i will attempt is create a new installation alongside my zen cart install and try move the config files from there. Might seem like a bit of work but if it helps then so be it :)

As far as Zen Cart is concerned, the only place to set the domain name of the store or admin is in the configure.php files.
So, I repeat: your problem is there.

Either that or you've done some custom programming of your own to write your own rewrites and force redirection to the IP address ... and I've no idea why you'd do that.

I also had the same problem. The problem was that my Zen Cart was pre-installed by my Web-Hosting Company. I deleted their install and did a fresh install and everything worked just fine.

Just thought that i would come back to this post and say how i went with installing a fresh copy of 1.3.9f.

Everything worked out accordingly and now points to the domain name, thanks for the help everyone! :)
