Pls help! Cart Error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away

Hi,
I haven't changed or done anything new to the shop.
However, when I try to open the Admin site, the following error comes:
"2006 MySQL server has gone away
in:
[select * from zen_coupon_gv_queue where release_flag='N']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Please help me to fix it

For future reference "MySQL server has gone away" is often an indication that your webhost may be overloading their servers. If it doesn't happen again don't worry about it, but if it is a regular occurance it may be time to start looking for another host.

Lara2911 - this is a hosting issue. Same happened to me some months ago. Searched the forums (see threads at the bottom of this page) and found a plausible explanation from DrByte. Got in touch with my host - they fixed it - problem solved

Yes, the problem is the MySQL server went down while your request was being processed.

You could use some uptime monitoring web site to check how often this happens, but alltogether, i agree with the others. Find a more stable web host.
