    Understood, but posting the link to your other thread might be a better way to approach this.. This way folks cans post their suggestions there, so we don't get into an off topic discussion on this support thread..

    Sorry but my question didn't get answered:

    Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but what size images should I be using for small, medium and large?

    I'd appreciate advice on this as it's all a little confusing!

    @towerheath,
    Don't take this wrong, but you might want to look at the readme.html that comes with the mod.
    Second item under Features.
    I would suggest you decide on a standard load image size if possible.

    I have tried too look for the answer but have been unable to do so... maybe the 600 page forum is blocking my capacity.

    I have the latest version installed and the following happens:
    some pictures: when the mouse hovers the small pic, it displays the large image, but some will display only the small image..but when the picture is clicked, the large file is loaded....

    This often happens if you have had image handler running and then changed sizes, some set at the old size may still be cached

    Have you tried clearing the imagehandler cache

    tools --> Imagehandler --> click on the admin tab and select "clear image handler cache"

    should fix it

    if not post back with a URL, showing where this is happening and an example of each

    I did have the same problem in Chrome with a perfect install of rev7. Just upgraded to rev8c and Chrome displays like all other browsers.

    Thanks to all for the rev8c upgraded version

    IH zoom small images not working on http://www.venturasvisions.com.au/ed...index&cPath=34

    I have tried everything to get this working.

    Possible causes:
    changed of default images sizes?
    installation of old 'template' mysql update patch? which changes default images sizes and add's things.

    I have tied removing the 'template' files.

    When I change back to the default zencart template (With IH2 files added) and hover over an image it create a big space at the top of the page.

    ... this is not the first time this has happened with my zencart installs (maybe bcuase of the templates I have been using with the mysql update patch

    I have confirmed proper install and renaming YOUR_TEMPLATE (x 2) .

    1) It doesn't appear that the files have been merged, when i look at the source of this page
    http://www.venturasvisions.com.au/ed...index&cPath=34

    your listings have no trace of image handler code in them

    Code:
    <td class="productListing-data" align="">
    <a href="http://www.venturasvisions.com.au/editmenow/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=34&amp;products_id=86">
    <img src="images/website jewellery 015.JPG" alt="test 2" title=" test 2 " width="93" height="137" class="listingProductImage" />
    </a>
    </td>
    If Image Handler is correctly installed it should look more like this

    Code:
    <td class="productListing-data" align="center">
    <a href="http://scrapbookoutletnz.co.nz/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=1558_1559&amp;products_id=14598">
    <img src="bmz_cache/8/8f352ebd901f284395d72a99768be77a.image.120x120.jpg" alt="AG Darcey - Black Quatrefoil Flocked Paper" title=" AG Darcey - Black Quatrefoil Flocked Paper " width="120" height="120" class="listingProductImage" style="position:relative" onmouseover="showtrail('bmz_cache/4/46e81b05dde2c20e6c55e0cc7fac0e44.image.200x200.jpg','AG Darcey - Black Quatrefoil Flocked Paper',120,120,200,200,this,0,0,120,120);" onmouseout="hidetrail();"  />
    </a>
    </td>
    as for the default template having a gap appear on imagehover thats happened before to people, normally it was caused by people not adding the image handler css file to their current template
