IT WORKED!!!!
Let me explain but first I want to say that I believe this problem is exclusive to monster templates that use both bad code AND bad directory/file structure.
This particular mod was looking to call a file - ezpages_drop_menu.php
the mod is programmed to look for this path includes/modules/sideboxes/MY TEMPLATE
HOWEVER the way monster templates work is that they hardly ever section their template into a proper MY TEMPLATE subcategory so naturally I would copy all mod files into just includes/modules/sideboxes
No other mod was fussy about this except this one.
So what I did with Ajeh's (GENIUS) help is to just invent a new MY TEMPLATE subdirectory (that no other mod uses...) and place the file there, then everything was fixed as the mod found that file.
all other mods that tell me to put a file in include.....mytemplate/ if I sense that the my template files are not in a subcategory but in the main category like sideboxes for example i automatically place the mod files there because thats where my template would call them up from, all mods were happy with that, until now... Does this make sense? for clarification post your questions please
