Sorry to bump this up, but does the new version work? I ran the SQL instructions, and uploaded the files, and nothing changed. I can't input wholesale pricing, and I can't edit customers to add them to have the wholesale group pricing.

ANyone got any ideas?

NOPE Gp 1.3.3 that David Simmons wrote retains the basic pricing level call that retail... plus adds 4 more levels which could be more than four but it's plenty for me. So I can list the same product using the same everything with 5 diffrent prices to 5 different customers and 5 different discounted prices or not discounted it all your choice.

I muddled with DP and it is about a 1 compared to GP being a 100. No offense to the creator it just has been surpassed IMO

I just tested GV 1.3.3 and it has the exact same problem.

Scenario:
A product is $100 and quantity discount for 4+ is $80 for normal customers.
Wholesale Group A is charged $50 for same product. If the wholesale Group A customer purchases less than 4 he is charged $50 but if he purchases 4 or more he is charged $80.

The big problem is the wholesale customer must order 6 or more which is easy to implement but only worthwhile if I can get either Dual Pricing or GP to work correctly for a wholesale customer.

You must have done something wrong with the install as I have done it a few times in the past week and each install including the
recent V1.7c works. (besides the quantity discounts problem)

I have to try that out to see what happens. My first thought is that buying that way would conflict with both these modules as these are setting flat prices for a given group of purchasers.

Obviously you can do a workaround (which I actually do but for a different reason) by creating a "special" which is a pre-pack at a reduced price. You then cross-sell it so even if the person bypasses the product listing they still see it cross-sold on the product page before ordering.

I use it as an upsell technique since I know most buyers buy say "3" and so I run a special at "5" units to get the upsell. It works really well in my case anyway.

First, I have zen-cart-v1.3.8a and it has been working pretty much great, other than a few security issues, which I have finally gotten resolved. Then I went and downloaded dual pricing and I have slammed up against an admin roadblock that has given me a major pia. My site is showing up fine, I can't login to admin. I did the copy and paste into the sql patch and poof, admin was gone. I've looked everywhere and can't find the answer. I would be happy if it gave me a real error message, what it says is:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I've been through the config files and I'm at a lose, they all look right. Somebody please give me an answer that will make it all good again. I was actually thinking about upgrading to the latest version and thought I would wait until after Christmas, now I'm wondering if I shouldn't ought to go ahead and do it.

This has been mentioned a couple of times.

I have the latest versions of stock_by_attributes and dual_pricing installed on zencart 1.3.9h.

When logged in as a wholesale user and adding a product with attributes to the shopping cart, the retail price is listed.

I gather this is a problem with shopping_cart.php, but I can't find anything.

Has anyone figured out a solution to this?

Discount Value - This value is used in Shopping Cart instead of TEXT_PRODUCTS_DISCOUNT_PRICE_W.

this mod isn't working properly in 139h. it can't see the wholesale customer variable turned on. i'm desperately working on a solution, i have the value working in the admin just not in the cart... yet.

Just spent 3 hours of browsing through forums for the answer of one simple question:

Is it possible with this dual pricing mod to display the wholesale prices without taxes. While the retail prices are shown with taxes?

This question has been asked several times on different forums but there is no clear answer on this.
