Default Setting Website Payments Pro ?

    ver 1.3.9c

I am moving from my current merchant gateway to Website Payments Pro . Wondering if there are any issues I may encounter. Other than installing the payment mod, (which requires PayPal Express Checkout first) and creating a new SSL cert, what else is required ? I searched for setting up documents here but couldn't find any. Also PayPal's Step-by-step setting up link is broken.

WHY did I know this was going to be a HUGE PAIN IN THE a--?

Got the Website Payment pro installed . BUT, during the checkout process it wipes out TWO of my important Mods, the Checkout without an Account, and the Fast and Easy Checkout mod. And replaces with its own checkout mod that starts with another PayPal login icon, and also garbled text at the top.

So for now Uninstalled Website Pro and dropped back down to Paypal standard, until can resolve these issues

WPP works just fine out-of-the box in a clean uncustomized install without addons. I can't speak for those two other invasive addons which alter numerous core files and basic core functionality. Perhaps you can find support for those addons in their respective discussion areas?

"garbled text at the top" ... sounds corrupt files. Is that "garbled text" showing on *your* site? or on Paypal's site?

Default How to STILL use Website Pro with COWA?

After installing PayPal Website Payment Pro, a new checkout form was created and I lost the Checkout Without an Account (COWA) function. Anyone get these both to work together?

Thanks, I am interviewing a few programmers to try and create a custom checkout form with the COWA integrated. I find COWA is has a lot of usage from my site visitors so don;t want to give it up. I can live without the FEC add on, but not COWA.

On my site in the checkout form the top line of text above the payment options boxes is overlapping text

You might well be getting styling from COWOA or FEC stylesheets, applying to elements in the PP version of the page that aren't set up the same.
