    Default HTML Coding

    Hello again,

As I'm learning my way around ZenCart and new website, I'm learning HTML. My question is - where does the HTML code go? It seems ZenCart has everything pre-set in Admin. I was able to program Banner in Page Editor, but for all the other coding changes I'd like, WHERE do we put them?

    Appreciate your help,
    Annette

I have read the FAQ & tutorials but haven't found where the coding goes. Some zenners have sent great coding to copy & paste to make neat changes to site, but can't figure out where to paste it to....

What specifically are you trying to change?

2 things: 1) I'd like to customize the wp_sidebar sidebox and 2) I received code to copy & paste to make my categories "fly out" when hovering over them.

I keep seeing posts to add coding to different places to accomplish different things, but can't find where the code goes.

Different kinds of code go in different places. PHP or HTML will go in a .php file, while style rules (like #mainWrapper {width: 1000px;} ) will go in /includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css, unless specified otherwise.
