removing space at top

I am trying to make my cart match my main (joomla) site
I know I wont get it perfect, but I want to get a few obvious things like that to be the same.

I am open to suggestions, and there are a number of things to do to make the sites match, but the first couple of obvious things I know I need to do are:

1. remove the space at the top of the cart, or add one to the joomla site
2. move the login code down (either to the breadcrumb area or perhaps to the right of the logo?)
3. make the breadcrumb section not as tall. I found the css area for this and changed colors etc but couldn't figure out what was padding the height
   any tips on how to do any of those would be most appreciated.

as a 'newbie' to this myself can only help regarding the gap ... if wanting to remove gap then in your css look for

#mainWrapper

make sure you have

margin:0;

Not sure if we're talking about the same little gap, but I had a small white line showing between the navigation bar & my header image. I removed it here:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
margin: 0em 0;
}
