I am attempting to create a test site using the default install of WAMP on XP.

I installed Zen 1.3.8 from the lastest download and had it configured fine.

I then installed Ultimate_SEO_URLs_v2.107 and captcha_verification_for_zc_1.3.7 and used the sample_htaccess. At this point it all fell to bits and after two days of googling, reading FAQ's and attemping to fix it myself I 've finally got around to asking for help!

The .htaccess file is as below

NOTE: Replace /shop/ with the relative web path of your catalog in the "Rewrite Base" line below:

I have tried replacing /shop/ with '/' and '/newkiwi/' but no joy I get a '500 internal server error'

If I delete the .htaccess file I can get into the http://localhost/newkiwi/admin/index.php with no problems but when I try and access http://localhost/newkiwi/index.php I just get a blank screen - no error message.

Please can some one assist me?
