background image and text size

I'd like to enlarge the text slightly and make the background behind the products white instead of the grayish background image. I don't want to remove the image, just put a white box behind the products so it looks nicer and makes the text more legible.

I'd also like to know if there's a way to move the products apart a little so the images don't overlap. Can I do that by enlarging the images?

I was able to adjust the image size.

I still haven't figured out how to change the text size or put a white background behind the products. Anyone?

http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=109218 has a suggestion by gjh42 that fixed the background color issue.

It appears that changing the text size might not be a great idea, so I'll let it go for now.
