merge two sites into third

I have two sites running 1.3.7 that I want to merge into a 1.3.8 site. The only thing part of the database I want to take over is the products and pictures.

I feel comfortable with SQL but what should I look out for?

Thanks,

Carter

Either upgrade them both then add to one of the DB's the other

Or do the add first and then upgrade the new DB & site

Huhm, I think its not an easy task. Say if you just want to merge the products, this will involve categories, attributes, and products images etc. An easy way to do it can be this: install eazy populate on all, then export the product list and anything involved (from the 2 old stores), and then import it to the new one

That sounds like a good solution ... I'll give it a try.

Thanks for both replies.
