How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Lets say if i had a Dress, And i have it in a Size. S, M, and L... and i only have 2 in a Size S... 5 in a Size M and 10 in a Size L. (Of that same dress),

how do i make it so the costumer can choose a size S but lets say i only have 2 of Size Small... and once it runs out it wont be available.

Is there a way to add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

I already know how to do the Attributes for a Product i just don't know how to set that quantity thing for that one size....

Please Help. Thanks!

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Hi,
I just tried uploading this file and nothing has changed for me. I tried to upload the file again and I get the following: What should I do as we have different sizes of clothing?
1062 Duplicate entry 'STOCK_SHOW_LOW_IN_CART' for key 2
in:
[INSERT INTO zen_configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function) VALUES ('Show available stock level in cart when less than order', 'STOCK_SHOW_LOW_IN_CART', 'false', 'When customer places more items in cart than are available, show the available amount on the shopping cart page:', '9', '6', NULL, now(), NULL, "zen_cfg_select_option(array('true', 'false')," );]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

You are getting that error because the script worked the first time you ran it, so the fields were inserted into the database properly. I'm not familiar with the mod, so I can't help you with it specifically, but you don't need to run the SQL again.

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

That's possible. Check your server in File Manager view, and see if there is an unexpected template folder name anywhere, and if so does it have the filename(s) from the mod.

That depends on what your host provides for you to control your site. If you have cPanel, there will be an icon in the home page for File Manager.

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Thanks. heaps. Just had the file manager checked for me and apparently no changes have been made????
This seems odd to me as I get the error message saying that the files have been downloaded.
I have been advised to FTP the files directly via my web hosting account rather than using the zen cart control panel.
Does this sound right to you? Should I cange the template names in the files before I do this?
Just double checking is it correcy to use the cherry_zen as the template name.

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Yes, you should FTP the files directly to the appropriate folders in your hosting server, and if you are using the cherry_zen template you should use that folder name in the appropriate locations.

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Most mods (and certainly any written by Kuroi) will have the files already organized in the correct relative folder structure, with the custom template name indicated by /custom/ or /your_template/ or some such. Before FTPing from your home computer, find and rename those folders to your actual custom template name. The readme file that comes with the mod should have specific instructions.

Once you have done that, all you need to do is copy the whole mod /includes/ folder to your site's /public_html/ or similar folder (depending on your exact setup). The files will drop into their correct locations.

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Well I tried it and then tried to log back onto the admin tool and I got the following error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class cache in /clientdata/n5200-2-dynamic/m/u/muddkids.com.au/www/includes/classes/cache.php on line 20

Now I can't log back into the admin tool?:yuck:

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

It appears that I may have changed the file structure as I now have 2 admin folders.

They appear as follows:
root/admin
root/admin/admin

Root/admin contains the following folders:
admin
back up
backups
bmz_cache
cache
cgi-bin
css
docs
download
etc.....

Root/admin/admin only contains:
backups
images
includes

How should these folders be structured?

Re: How do I add quantity to one specific size for one Item?

Root/admin/admin should not exist. You have put the mod folders into the wrong level (too deep or too high, depending on the way you describe it); the three folders in it should have merged their contents into Root/admin/backups/, Root/admin/images/ etc.
You should also check Root/includes/ to see if it has a duplicated /includes/ folder from the mod.
