How to add text link for search on top menu bar?

Hello,

The search sidebox slowdown the homepage browsing speed.
I want to hide it and make it like this zen-cart forum, create a text link on top menu bar. Could you please help how to make it on Admin?

The search bar for zen cart is not configured to be display like the one in the forum. That will require some additional work. If you have some experience with HTML, you might want to try some dhtml scripts. There are lots of sites that offer free scripts.
