Canada Post - Shipping Multiple Items

Ok I have say 2 itmes right now... and in canada post i set my box size to the Biggest size and heaviest of 30 KG (need to find a way to match this up in zencart as well)

So i got to my online shopping cart and go to the product i want to buy.. it only weigh in at 5 lbs or 5 KG (not sure what value its taking to CANADA POST.

So then i get a shipping rate.. of this

Canada Post (1 box(es) to be shipped) (Regular, 2008-10-08) $12.22
Store Pickup (Walk In) $0.00

As you will see it has 1 BOX to be shipped now I go back and enter my product to 2 items for the same on..

Canada Post (2 box(es) to be shipped) (Regular, 2008-10-08) $24.44

And you will see now that it has 2 BOXES.. for a weight of only 10 lbs or KG..

Not sure why or how to fix this??? as i tired to look at the old post and can't find anything that they are tell me to do..

Why is shipping the hardest thing to figure out?????

In your product settings if you've checked the box that says "Item ships in its own box", then it's going to be quoted as 2 separately-shipped items.

i'm so blind.. where would that be????

Its at the bottom of the product page in the admin menu. Edit the product, scroll to the bottom and uncheck the "item ships in its own box" field.

I honestly can't see that???

I went to my:

Admin
Catalog- categories/products
I selected the Category its in.
then I find the product hit the E (edit Button)
THen on this page for the product there is NO

"item ships in its own box"

Is this a special MOD to be installed???? I'm just using the the default tempaltes that came with zen cart- i have this on 2 carts and don't have this on neither of them??

Looks like you've not uploaded the updated admin files that came with the Canada Post module. They allow you to check/uncheck that box as well as supply dimensions to your products, and specify lbs/kgs and inches/cm etc.
